After seventy six editions, the International Horse Show at Piazza di Siena is still one of the most important and exciting events of its kind in the field of equestrian sports, and a must for Romans and visitors alike.

The 77th International Show Jumping Nations Super Cup League will be held on Piazza di Siena, in Villa Borghese. Show jumping is the only sport hosted in this beautiful public park in the heart of Rome.
The Piazza di Siena first opened its gates to team show jumping in 1928 when France, Poland, Spain and Italy battled it out, but equestrian competition was first staged at this prestigious venue six years earlier in 1922, and in 1926 the first international fixture was held.
Many great Nations Cup clashes have taken place on this hallowed ground and, in 2004, riders were treated to a brand new warm-up arena which has been constructed close to the location of the old sand ring.
